One of my favorite local places for a solo meal. The food here has never disappointed whether is brunch, lunch or dinner. Noise levels can range from quiet to needing to talk a little loudly especially during dinner service. I always sit outside in warmer months which is nice. No issue with bugs, safety or foot traffic from nearby businesses. The food here is always good some of my favorites are french toast; egg, ham and cheese crepe; confit duck, apricot and white beans; escargot; mussels; Caesar salad; tomato and feta salad; roasted chicken; baked goat cheese; salmon with peas…on and on. The chocolate mousse is quite rich. The bread pudding is exquisite. The service is good overall but most often i’ve had to wait quite ling for a check.
We had a great dining experience at Mon ami, and can't recommend it enough! The updated interior was bright and inviting, and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our waiter, Gary’s, service was exceptional— he was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and his friendly, personable demeanor made the entire experience feel special. We are hoping to have Gary as our waiter again! Five stars all around!
We recently went to Mon Ami Gabi for my husbands birthday. Our waiter Jim was exceptional! He was friendly, kind, and made our evening one to remember. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Thank you Jim for a great evening!
My husband and I enjoyed ourselves here. The bread is delicious along with the Brie and apricot spread. The mussels were fantastic, the sauce was tasty. The duck thighs were super crisp and tasty. They sat us all the way in the back which wasn’t great but other than that the service was good.
Excellent service, first portion sizes and everything tasted great! The escargot was good, but the sauce they were sitting is the real deal. Got a baguette just to soak up the juices. The frisée salad is rich on its own with the poached egg and the thick cut bacon. Also the steak frites is a decent portion size of steak and fries.
Food is as delicious as I remembered. This is our first time returning to Mon Ami Gabi after the remodel. We came to celebrate my birthday and splurged on a lot of their delicacies. Great atmosphere for small or large groups. Excellent place for happy hour or date night.
I had a lovely time at Mon Ami Gabi for my birthday brunch! The atmosphere was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially appreciated the complimentary profiterole from the chef—it was an amazing birthday treat! I truly recommend this place for a special occasion or just a great meal.
We visited the restaurant on opening day after the renovation. The interior is beautiful and classic with more space for tables. We informed them that we were there to celebrate a special occasion and our server Marianna took great care of us. Of course, it was crowded on opening night but the food came out timely and our server made sure we were well looked after without rushing. Her knowledge and recommendation of wine pairing with the food was excellent and we really enjoyed it. We went back again to try the brunch menu and were treated to a great meal by our server Ismael. The customer service standards here are clearly excellent. We will definitely be going back again.
